This systen was evaluated with 225 trees, mixed with crops.
Here we have the production of timber, poles and fuelwood for 20 years of rotation period for this specie

This Silvopasture system start with 320 trees planted at 5 x 5 meteres of distance in 1 hectare of land.
the interest rate considered is a 5% at 20 years due at the rotation period of this specie

Results from forestry inventory on 23 hectares of Alnus acuminata, with 8 years old in 2008.
Average of Volmen per hectare= 43. 84 cubic meters per ha.
Average of DBH= 0.18 m
Volume per tree= 0.10 cubic meter per tree

Six observation plots of 3.14m2 each were installed randomly within the llashipa site in 2005 and leaf hight was observed in 4-week intervalls untill 2008

Each frond has its own frond number (SampleID), which is unique within the plot

Abundance of vascular epiphytes (incl. hemiepiphytes) in 10 x 10 m plots across a land-use gradient.
All samples (columns) give abundance data for vascular epiphyte assemblages in plots of 10x10 meters. PT = Handtuchfläche secondary forest (RSF), Ai = secondary forest at Arco Iris (Ai1: around Ai-building, Ai2-plots on neighbouring ridge towards W), Q2 = Quebrada 2 (RSF), Q5 = Quebrada 5 (RSF), PP = Pinus plantation above ECSF, LC = Loma Chamusqiuín (1-4: secondary forest below Loja-Zamora road, 5-8: secondary forest above Loja-Zamora road). SF = tall secondary forest at RSF, DF = tall degraded forest at RSF; MF = mature (undisturbed) forest at RSF.
