Abstract: Rainfall data from the ECSF area in hourly resolution at the FN2 site located at the intersection of Camino Canal and Camino Zig-Zag. Rainfall was measured with an automatic rain gauge (Campbell ARG100, Palo Alto, USA) coupled with a HOBO H07-002-04 datalogger (Onset, Bourne, USA). Event-based recordings were aggregated to hourly data. Rain events occuring during one hour interval were aggregated to the next full hour. Data values are complete unless otherwise indicated by the data gaps below: Data gaps during the observation period: 03/05/2012 19:02:20.5 to 17/05/2012 15:28:52.0 20/12/2013 10:36:58.5 to 08/01/2014 15:51:25.0 28/07/2014 15:57:55.0 to 01/09/2014 17:14:27.0 06/10/2014 14:48:25.0 to 15/10/2014 18:09:26.0 Data gaps during the observation period are indicated by values = NULL. Abstract:	Weekly time series of precipitation data from the ... Abstract: Weekly time series of precipitation data from the San Francisco area at 2000 m a.s.l. at the measuring station FN3 located at the climate station on T2. Precipitation was measured with 5 Hellmann-type pluviometers. The resulting weekly replicates of precipitation were volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per collecting interval. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF.

At the same time a new weather station called "Climate Station ECSF established 2010" was installed 3m beside the former ECSF weather station on the same measuring plot.

Climate Parameter Quality Check for site ECSF Checking modules: 1. Does a value exist? Quality flag is set to "d = missing" 2. Checking of site specific threshold value. If the value is not inbetween the thresholds the quality flag is set to "c = out of range": Windspeed max = 25 Global Radiation max = 1400 Air temperature in 2m max = 30 Air temperature in 2m min = 5 Air humidity max = 99.9 Air humidity min = 10 3. Checking the plausibility of air temperature and air humidity within the measurement intervals by comparing the previous and current values. If the temperature amplitude is higher then 10°C and humidity amplitude is higher than 30% the plausibility of this variation is checked by comparing to the variation of the other parameter. The quality flag is set to "e = variation implausible". 4. Precipitation check If precipitation is more than 25 mm then quality flag is set to "c = out of range" If precipitation is more than 15 mm and air temperature increases more than 0.2 °C inbetween a temporal interval then quality flag is set to "e = variation impossible". 5. Relative air humidity values are corrected by a standarized method and quality flag is set to "m = manually corrected". 6. Wind direction is not quality checked and flag is set to "nqc = not quality checked" All other values are set to "a = valid".

Abstract:	Weekly time series of precipitation data from the ... Abstract: Weekly time series of precipitation data from the ECSF area at the measuring station FN3 located on T2 near the ECSF meteorological station. Precipitation was measured with 5 Hellmann-type pluviometers. The resulting weekly replicates of precipitation were volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per collecting interval. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF.
