Abstract: Weekly time series of precipitation data from the San Francisco area at 2000 m a.s.l. at the measuring station FN2 located at the intersection of Camino Canal and Camino Zig-Zag. Precipitation was measured with 5 Hellmann-type pluviometers. The resulting weekly replicates of precipitation were volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per collecting interval. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF.

Abstract:	Rainfall data from the ECSF area in hourly resolut... Abstract: Rainfall data from the ECSF area in hourly resolution at the FN2 site located at the intersection of Camino Canal and Camino Zig-Zag. Rainfall was measured with an automatic rain gauge (Campbell ARG100, Palo Alto, USA) coupled with a HOBO H07-002-04 datalogger (Onset, Bourne, USA). Event-based recordings were aggregated to hourly data. Rain events occuring during one hour interval were aggregated to the next full hour. Data values are complete unless otherwise indicated by the data gaps below: Data gaps during the observation period: 03/05/2012 19:02:20.5 to 17/05/2012 15:28:52.0 20/12/2013 10:36:58.5 to 08/01/2014 15:51:25.0 28/07/2014 15:57:55.0 to 01/09/2014 17:14:27.0 06/10/2014 14:48:25.0 to 15/10/2014 18:09:26.0 Data gaps during the observation period are indicated by values = NULL. Abstract:	Measurements of gas flux (CO2, CH4, N2O) in canopy... Abstract: Measurements of gas flux (CO2, CH4, N2O) in canopy soils of NUMEX plots on four dates (Sept/Nov 2011 and Jan/April 2012). Measurements were taken in 3 of the 4 NUMEX blocks at each elevation; treatments measured included C, N, NP and P.
Additional info:	Gas fluxes were measured by incubating intact soil... Additional info: Gas fluxes were measured by incubating intact soil cores. Gas samples were analyzed on a gas chromatograph with a FID and ECD. Note that the units for CO2 are mg CO2-C m-2 h-1 (not g CO2-C).
