Abstract:	Weekly time series of throughfall data from the EC... Abstract: Weekly time series of throughfall data from the ECSF area in the microcatchment Q2 (transects Q2.1, Q2.2 and Q2.3). Throughfall was measured weekly with 20 Hellmann-type pluviometers at each transect. The weekly replicates were volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per collecting interval and transect. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF.

All samples (columns) give abundance data for vascular epiphyte assemblages in plots of 10x10 meters. PT = Handtuchfläche secondary forest (RSF), Ai = secondary forest at Arco Iris (Ai1: around Ai-building, Ai2-plots on neighbouring ridge towards W), Q2 = Quebrada 2 (RSF), Q5 = Quebrada 5 (RSF), PP = Pinus plantation above ECSF, LC = Loma Chamusqiuín (1-4: secondary forest below Loja-Zamora road, 5-8: secondary forest above Loja-Zamora road). Abstract:	Weekly time series of measured concentrations of A... Abstract: Weekly time series of measured concentrations of Al, Mn, Zn, Cl, PO4-P, Total P, NH4-N, NO3-N, Total N, S, K, Na, Mg, Ca and Total organic C in throughfall in the ECSF area in the microcatchment Q2 (transects Q2.1, Q2.2 and Q2.3). The weekly time series extends between March 1998 and May 2013. Throughfall was sampled with 20 Hellmann-type collectors per transect. Replicates were collected, volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per transect and collecting interval. Samples were immediately filtered (4-7 µm) in the laboratory of the ECSF and stored at -20 °C until transport in frozen state to Germany or to Switzerland for concentration measurements.
