Abstract:	Rainfall data from the ECSF area in hourly resolut... Abstract: Rainfall data from the ECSF area in hourly resolution at the FN2 site located at the intersection of Camino Canal and Camino Zig-Zag. Rainfall was measured with an automatic rain gauge (Campbell ARG100, Palo Alto, USA) coupled with a HOBO H07-002-04 datalogger (Onset, Bourne, USA). Event-based recordings were aggregated to hourly data. Rain events occuring during one hour interval were aggregated to the next full hour. Data values are complete unless otherwise indicated by the data gaps below: Data gaps during the observation period: 03/05/2012 19:02:20.5 to 17/05/2012 15:28:52.0 20/12/2013 10:36:58.5 to 08/01/2014 15:51:25.0 28/07/2014 15:57:55.0 to 01/09/2014 17:14:27.0 06/10/2014 14:48:25.0 to 15/10/2014 18:09:26.0 Data gaps during the observation period are indicated by values = NULL. All samples (columns) give abundance data for vascular epiphyte assemblages in plots of 10x10 meters. PT = Handtuchfläche secondary forest (RSF), Ai = secondary forest at Arco Iris (Ai1: around Ai-building, Ai2-plots on neighbouring ridge towards W), Q2 = Quebrada 2 (RSF), Q5 = Quebrada 5 (RSF), PP = Pinus plantation above ECSF, LC = Loma Chamusqiuín (1-4: secondary forest below Loja-Zamora road, 5-8: secondary forest above Loja-Zamora road).
