Ring Names Giessen |

All FACE and Thermo-FACE rings in Giessen have unique names. In the GiFACE there are three ambient (A) and three elevated CO2 (E) rings, and there are three ring pairs (A1-E1, A2-E2, A3-E3) which differ slightly in mean soil moisture. In the Thermo-FACE there are also three different Blocks (1-3) defined by the mean soil moisture range. Each Block consists of on control without ring construction (Ko), one control with ring construction (K), one elevated CO2 ring (C), one elevated air temperature ring (T), and one ring with elevated CO2 and elevated air temperature (TC). |
