Climate data measuered by automatic Thies weather station of the working group B2.

The data are quality checked by a standardised method.<br/> <br/> Climate Parameter Quality Check for site Motilon<br/> Checking modules:<br/> <br/> 1. Does a value exist?<br/> Quality flag is set to <br/> "d = missing"<br/> <br/> 2. Checking of site specific threshold value.<br/> If the value is not inbetween the thresholds the quality flag is set to "c = out of range":<br/> Windspeed max = 10<br/> Global Radiation max = 1400<br/> Soil temperature in 0cm depth max = 45<br/> Soil temperature in 0cm depth min = 5<br/> Soil temperature in 10cm depth max = 30<br/> Soil temperature in 10cm depth min = 10<br/> Soil temperature in 60cm depth max = 20<br/> Soil temperature in 60cm depth min = 10<br/> Air temperature in 2m max = 35<br/> Air temperature in 2m min = 5<br/> Air humidity max = 100<br/> Air humidity min = 10<br/> <br/> 3. Checking the plausibility of air temperature and air humidity within the measurement intervals by comparing the previous and current values.<br/> If the temperature amplitude is higher then 10°C and humidity amplitude is higher than 30% the plausibility of this variation is checked by comparing to the variation of the other parameter. <br/> The quality flag is set to "e = variation implausible".<br/> <br/> 4. Precipitation check<br/> If precipitation is more than 40 mm then quality flag is set to "c = out of range"<br/> If precipitation is more than 15 mm and air temperature increases more than 0.2 °C inbetween a temporal interval then quality flag is set to "e = variation impossible".<br/> <br/> 5. Wind direction is not quality checked and flag is set to "nqc = not quality checked"<br/> <br/> All other values are set to "a = valid".
