Nocturnal moths were sampled on 20 plots during three periods between 1999 and 2000 using light traps equipped with two backlight 15 W tubes operated between 18:30 and 21:30 local time (UTC-5:00). Catches were restricted to periods from three days after full moon until five days before full moon. Specimens were sorted to morphospecies within geometrid moths (Geometridae). Data from the PHD-thesis of Dr. Gunnar Brehm. For additional information on methods and sites see: Brehm, G. (2002): Diversity of geometrid moths in a montane rainforest in Ecuador. PHD-thesis.
