Abstract:
For the determination of the C/N ratio in leaves of understory plants we collected representatively leaves from 27 plots in natural and disturbed forest sites (1000 to 3000 m a.s.l.) in the dry season in 2014. We considered the shrub layer and the herbal layer of 30 randomly chosen m2 per plot. The collected leaves were dried and prepared to determine the C/N ratio with a C/N Analysator (Vario EL III).
