Abstract:	Weekly time series of measured concentrations of A... Abstract: Weekly time series of measured concentrations of Al, Mn, Zn, Cl, PO4-P, Total P, NH4-N, NO3-N, Total N, K, Na, Mg, Ca and Total organic C in precipitation in the ECSF area at the FN3 site on T2 near the ECSF meteorological station. The weekly time series extends between May 2000 and May 2013. Precipitation was sampled with 5 Hellmann-type collectors. Replicates were collected, volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per plot. Samples were immediately filtered (4-7 µm) in the laboratory of the ECSF and stored at -20 °C until transport in frozen state to Germany or to Switzerland for concentration measurements.

Abstract:	Rainfall data from the ECSF area in hourly resolut... Abstract: Rainfall data from the ECSF area in hourly resolution at the FN2 site located at the intersection of Camino Canal and Camino Zig-Zag. Rainfall was measured with an automatic rain gauge (Campbell ARG100, Palo Alto, USA) coupled with a HOBO H07-002-04 datalogger (Onset, Bourne, USA). Event-based recordings were aggregated to hourly data. Rain events occuring during one hour interval were aggregated to the next full hour. Data values are complete unless otherwise indicated by the data gaps below: Data gaps during the observation period: 03/05/2012 19:02:20.5 to 17/05/2012 15:28:52.0 20/12/2013 10:36:58.5 to 08/01/2014 15:51:25.0 28/07/2014 15:57:55.0 to 01/09/2014 17:14:27.0 06/10/2014 14:48:25.0 to 15/10/2014 18:09:26.0 Data gaps during the observation period are indicated by values = NULL. Precipitation was measured with 5 Hellmann-type pluviometers. The resulting weekly replicates of precipitation were volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per collecting interval. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF.

PT = Handtuchfläche secondary forest (RSF), Ai = secondary forest at Arco Iris (Ai1: around Ai-building, Ai2-plots on neighbouring ridge towards W), Q2 = Quebrada 2 (RSF), Q5 = Quebrada 5 (RSF), PP = Pinus plantation above ECSF, LC = Loma Chamusqiuín (1-4: secondary forest below Loja-Zamora road, 5-8: secondary forest above Loja-Zamora road). Abstract:	Weekly time series of throughfall data from the EC... Abstract: Weekly time series of throughfall data from the ECSF area in the microcatchment Q2 (transects Q2.1, Q2.2 and Q2.3). Throughfall was measured weekly with 20 Hellmann-type pluviometers at each transect. The weekly replicates were volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per collecting interval and transect. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF.
