Weekly time series of water fluxes, electrical conductivity, pH values and measured concentrations of Al, Mn, Zn, Cl, PO4-P, Total P, NH4-N, NO3-N, Total N, K, Na, Mg, Ca and Total organic C in precipitation from the Bombuscaro site at 1000 m a.s.l. located at the climate station. The weekly time series extends between March 2018 and December 2019. Precipitation was sampled with 5 Hellmann-type collectors. Replicates were collected, volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per plot. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF. Samples were filtered (4-7 µm) in the laboratory of the ECSF and stored at -20 °C until transport in frozen state to Germany for concentration measurements.

Weekly time series of throughfall fluxes, electrical conductivity, pH values and measured concentrations of Al, Mn, Zn, Cl, PO4-P, Total P, NH4-N, NO3-N, Total N, S, K, Na, Mg, Ca and Total organic C in throughfall in the ECSF area in the microcatchment Q2 (transects Q2.1, Q2.2 and Q2.3). The weekly time series extends between March 1998 and December 2016. Throughfall was sampled with 20 Hellmann-type collectors per transect. Replicates were collected, volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per transect and collecting interval. Samples were immediately filtered (4-7 µm) in the laboratory of the ECSF and stored at -20 °C until transport in frozen state to Germany or to Switzerland for concentration measurements. Stem flow was sampled weekly in Q2.1 with polyurethane collars on 5 representative tree species: Piptocoma discolor (Kunth) Pruski, Heliocarpus americanus L., Sapium glandulosum (L.) Morong, Cyathea caracasana (Klotzsch) Domin, Cecropia angustifolia Trécul. The five stem flow samples were collected, volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per per collecting interval. Samples were immediately filtered (4-7 µm) in the laboratory of the ECSF and stored at -20 °C until transport in frozen state to Germany or to Switzerland for concentration measurements.

The weekly time series extends between March 1998 and May 2013. Litter leachate was sampled on the three transects with zero-tension lysimeters below the organic layer. On each transect 3 replicates at upper, middle and lower slope positions were collected, volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per plot and collecting interval. Samples were immediately filtered (4-7 µm) in the laboratory of the ECSF and stored at -20 °C until transport in frozen state to Germany or to Switzerland for concentration measurements.

The weekly time series extends between March 1998 and May 2013. Stream water was sampled weekly upstream of the weir in Q2.1. Samples were immediately filtered (4-7 µm) in the laboratory of the ECSF and stored at -20 °C until transport in frozen state to Germany or to Switzerland for concentration measurements.

The fortnightly time series extends between August 2007 and March 2013. Throughfall was sampled on the 20 NUMEX plots with Hellmann-type collectors. On each plot 20 replicates were collected, volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per plot. Samples were immediately filtered (4-7 µm) in the laboratory of the ECSF  and stored at -20 °C until transport in frozen state to Germany or to Switzerland for concentration measurements.
