Arbuscular mycorrhizal root colonization (%), colonized root length (cm/cm³) and fine root parameters in response to nutrient additions (N, P and NP) are reported. Samples were taken in October 2010 at the NUMEX plots at 2000m.

Beschreibung: Hier sind die Ergebnisse der Auswertungen der hemisphärischen Bilder mit dem Programm HemiView Canopy Analysis Software (Version 2.1 SR1, Delta T Devices Ltd., www.delta-t.co.uk) angegeben.
Weiterhin sind die Ergebnisse der Vermessungen an den Messpunkten angegeben.
In der Übersicht sind die Mittelwerte (Zeile 6-14), die Standardabweichungen (Zeile 23-31) und die Variationskoeffizienten (Zeile 40-48) angegeben.

This dataset has been migrated from the previous FOR402-Database to the FOR816-Database by the Central Data Management Z1/FOR816.
Please keep in mind that the migration included all avilable metainfomation which were accessible through the FOR402-Database. Nevertheless, it can't be guaranteed that no thematic misinterpretation occured in the data/attribute description.
There has been no further disciplin specfic control. In any case of ambiguity please contact the dataset creator.

Weekly time series of precipitation data from the San Francisco area at 2000 m a.s.l. at the measuring station FN3 located at the climate station on T2. Precipitation was measured with 5 Hellmann-type pluviometers. The resulting weekly replicates of precipitation were volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per collecting interval. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF.

Aggregated values from 2000 are incomplete (May to December).

The table is a  list of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi with their host plants. The sequences are deposited in the NCBI GenBank.

Monthly measurement of soil temperature and soil gas fluxes (CO2, N2O) in the NUMEX plots in Bombuscaro, ECSF und Cajanuma

Monthly measurements of gas fluxes were performed using static vented chambers.
Soil temperature was taken simultaneously with gas measurements.

Weekly time series of measured concentrations of Al, Mn, Zn, Cl, PO4-P, Total P, NH4-N, NO3-N, Total N, S, K, Na, Mg, Ca and Total organic C in throughfall in the ECSF area in the microcatchment Q2 (transects Q2.1, Q2.2 and Q2.3). The weekly time series extends between March 1998 and May 2013. Throughfall was sampled with 20 Hellmann-type collectors per transect. Replicates were collected, volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per transect and collecting interval. Samples were immediately filtered (4-7 µm) in the laboratory of the ECSF and stored at -20 °C until transport in frozen state to Germany or to Switzerland for concentration measurements.

Position of trees in the natural forest experiment was calculated using trigonometric measurements from 2004 and 2009. Precision is estimated to be between 0-10m.
