Weekly time series of precipitation data from the San Francisco area at 2000 m a.s.l. at the measuring station FN3 located at the climate station on T2. Precipitation was measured with 5 Hellmann-type pluviometers. The resulting weekly replicates of precipitation were volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per collecting interval. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF.

Weekly time series of throughfall data (water fluxes, electrical conductivity, pH values) from the Bombuscaro site at 1000 m a.s.l. located in NUMEX Plot 12 (control). The updated weekly time series extends between March 2018 and December 2023. Throughfall was sampled with 20 Hellmann-type collectors. Replicates were collected, volume-weighted and bulked to one sample per plot and sampling period. Electrical conductivity and pH values were measured immediately in unfiltered aliquots in the laboratory at the ECSF.

The updated weekly time series extends between March 2018 and December 2023. Precipitation was sampled with 5 Hellmann-type collectors. The dataset includes chemical properties of the mineral soil associated with the PFT trees species of the core plots in Bombuscaro, San Francisco and Cajanuma. The samples were taken during sampling campaigns in 2018 and 2019. Respresentative samples were taken from the mineral soil at five locations close to each tree from 0-10 cm soil depth, bulked in the field, dried at 40 °C at the ECSF and transported to Germany for laboratory analyses. Total carbon, nitrogen and sulfur were measured by elemental analysis via thermal combustion in milled aliquots. Available P was measured in the < 2mm soil fraction after extraction by the Olsen method with 0.5 M NaHCO3 and measurement by continuous flow analysis.
