Description:
Following current health policy debates on the introduction of cross-sectoral health care, there is a need for a spatial framework depicting actual health care usage. When analysing existing health care structures and quality of care, and planning and evaluating future health care, relying on aggregated data on district level proves insufficent.
Thus, dasymetric maps, agent-based models, usage data and regional characteristics are combined to delineate specific health care regions.
