Abstract:
The Biomass data from the GI-FACE are given for all 25 Subplots per ring (only 23 subplots from 2013 onwards). The values are given in g dryweight per squaremeter and corrected for disturbance.

Ring Names Giessen
Description
:
All FACE and Thermo-FACE rings in Giessen have unique names. In the GiFACE there are three ambient (A) and three elevated CO2 (E) rings, and there are three ring pairs (A1-E1, A2-E2, A3-E3) which differ slightly in mean soil moisture. In the Thermo-FACE there are also three different Blocks (1-3) defined by the mean soil moisture range. Each Block consists of on control without ring construction (Ko), one control with ring construction (K), one elevated CO2 ring (C), one elevated air temperature ring (T), and one ring with elevated CO2 and elevated air temperature (TC).
