Abstract:

The values of soil heat flux within the Thermo-FACE rings are given for a soil depth of 5 cm. To calculate the soil heat flux at the soil surface additional data as soil temperature and soil moisture at and before each measurement have to be taken into account for a detailed description of the calcualtion see Manual of heat flux plates at campbell (https://s.campbellsci.com/documents/us/manuals/hfp01.pdf)
